I thought Jacksonville City Nights was incredible, maybe his best album -- and certainly his most consistent. 29, on the other hand, has some serious issues. I could easily cut half the songs (what would that make it, like, a four-song EP?).

I have a Toyota, too, and let me tell ya, nothing plays right in that car. Only half of my CD-Rs play correctly. Most CDs released by Nonsuch also skip (Wilco, Emmylou Harris - for some reason, Brian Wilson "Smile" works okay). It's strange. Not sure what to tell you. I'm apt to think there are diff...
