One of the chain stores over here has this rediculous sale on, where albums are £2 or £3. So far I've picked up: Magnetic Fields - I Good Will Hunting Soundtrack Delgados - Hate Supergrass - Life on Other Planets Apart from that: Hard-Fi - Stars of CCTV Rough Trade Shops - Indie Pop Vol. 1.

I have a major soft spot for hip hop and trip hop, if that counts. Sadly, I don't have enough money to expand my collection very much (not that it matters much in the case of trip-hop- it seems to be a genre with about 5 artists in it).

I don't mind MySpace. I got rid of the weirdos by putting a photo of myself up. Seriously, it worked. The only feature i really use is the blog, to keep a record of my DJ setlists.

It's cool to have Riviera, Death Cab and Ben Folds as friends though, and the streaming music player is really good.

Where I End And You Begin – I love this one, but I have a hard time explaining why. Yeah, Colin’s Peter Hook bassline is cool, and the melody is catchy without being cloying. I guess it’s just the “X” factor of the cool interplaying rhythms. One of my favourites too. I like the spooky noises that s...

Definately make time for the Tate Modern in London. And Camden of course, which is pretty fun to walk around.

I use another Russian site, AllOfMP3.com for some MP3s. I use it mostly to download singles by bands I'm not that into for DJing. I still buy CDs by artists I like, but I can't afford to keep up with British music trends in an entirely legit manner; CDs/downloads are simply too expensive over here.

Mine's like that but I've been to lazy to change it. Always bugs me when it pops up in Audiscrobbler though. However, it's fun to say.

I'm not sure I'd want to see On the Road adapted as a film. I don't think it would work; it would be so hard to capture the energy of the text on film.

I'm currently suffering Kerouac withdrawl... I wrote my dissertation on On the Road and Ginsberg's poetry.[/i]
