didn't he cover woody gutherie on one of his most recent albums? woody's certainly not a recipe for sales nor is he really the safest bet in a lot of cases. look at billy bragg and wilco. their woody gutherie albums were critically acclaimed, but not really barn burners on radio or the charts.

i picked up the soundtrack to watchmen. aside from the forgettable my chemical romance the rest of the soundtrack is actually very weird with some odd choices. from bob dylan to leonard cohen to nina simone to philip glass. it's very good, but very odd.
