I'm new to the board and was just wondering if there were any of his fans here.

I swear he is the most famous man no one has ever heard of!

I love him -- the Marvelous 3 is one of the best live bands I've seen -- but I thought his solo disc was uneven at best. Last I heard he was shopping for a new label.

Yeah, I'm a big fan. Loved the M3 and finally saw him live last year at the fabulous 40 Watti in Athens. Kick ass show.

And you're right - he's really undderrated. The man writes a mean pop song.

i'm more of a passive fan... that is, i know a handful of diehards and have heard his stuff. definitely like his solo album. liked his stuff with m3. he definitely delivers with all his effort. i'm getting the pang to give in and dig more into his work.

I used to see Butch a while ago in his band before M3 - Floyd's Funk. I saw them a couple of times in Lawrence, KS and they were some of the best shows I've ever seen. Butch can bring the rock.

I liked the M3 stuff ok...haven't heard the new stuff. He's apparently got a few credits on the new Avril disc.
