I'm glad some people actually like New Adventures in Hi-Fi.

beginthebegin i would love to buy the tickets. the thing is my dad was supposed to be getting tickets cause he wants to go too. he loves them as well. so let me talk with him and see what he wants to do. it's a shame though you're selling them. r.e.m. hasn't gone downhill as everyone claims. i think the problem is as such: they put out 10 cds in a row with 80% of them being masterpieces. this all took place from 80-92. by the time they put out monster every cd after was seen as lackluster against the many masterpieces they had. much like rolling stones' records now. r.e.m. put out very few bad cd's from 80-92 and thus they built up this huge expection of them that was hard to live down. i hope everyone understands what i mean.

I'm a huge fan myself, but "Up" , with the exception of "Daysleeper" and "At My Most Beautiful" is damn near coma inducing.
