all this is true. someone i love dearly is heading down a dark road that is surely and slowly probably going to kill him. it pains me to see this but it pains me more to see the community using him and making it worse. it almost like drugs. anyway i have way too many personal feelings invested to be able to have rational discourse on this subject. everyone here has made very execellent points. again as usual miss carol is spot on. score another one for the canadians.

I agree with Jake. This is one stupid train of thought.

I can't count the number of alcoholic and drug addicted friends I've had over the years, almost all of whom are straight. But I don't blame it on "straight culture" or "straight bars."

Get the fuck over it. PEOPLE do stupid and destructive things whether they're men, women, gay or straight. Wanna see a straight guy go down the dark path? Go to any random bar and sit on a stool for 6 hours. You're guaranteed to see some loser humiliate himself.

For christ's sake, my neighbor growing up was a perveted retard, but I don't wax on and on here about how mongoloids are porn addicts.

I don't know if he would, but you'd better believe he damn well has the audacity! It's a mandate, remember? The will of the people? The one question rule?

And speaking of homosexuals...heh heh...what FREAKS ME OUT about anti-homo bigots is that their weak justifications for whatever bullshit they're laying down is that they truly believe people CHOOSE to be gay.

It's like, Why? Did you once choose your straightness? "Hmm...for a while there, I coulda gone gay..." (er, well I guess there's those east coast liberal arts college LUGs (lesbians-until-graduation...))

Plug-and-Play Parliament? Representation by Population, or your money back, guaranteed? Not available in stores so order now!

So, um.....what's misc.?

I try to avoid clubs as much as possible, but when I go I definitely prefer gay clubs, at the very least because the music is usually better.
