Bryan Adams? Isn't that even more lame?

And is Brian Vander Arkstra the guy who was in Rock Star?

No way, Bryan Adams is a rock messiah!!

Seriously though, you guys don't dig Ryan Adams? Sure, his most recent album is a bit of a sell-out but god damn he's written some beautiful songs.

Also, were you thinking of Sun-Ra and the brianvanderArkestra?

God, if I have to hear one more brainless dutch-butt-grandrapidian bring-up Vanderark I'm gonna go postal.

"I saw him at Tapps"
"I saw him at Gardella's"
"I saw him at the Children's Museum"

I'd like to see him step in front of a Steelcase truck on US131!

Blaaaaahhhhh. Now I have a nasty taste in my mouth.

Wasn't Blackie down at Founders a couple of weeks ago? He's a frickin West Michigan icon!

Yeah, that cat creeped me out. He was with this 21 year old kid who was sweating bullets. Blackie didn't have anything, the kid had one beer, Blackie paid and then they left.

Speaking of Founder's, I saw the Nasty's there last Thursday. My new favorite local scene band! They were playing some hot-ass Glam rock.

Yeah....Nasty! Wha? Gotta see them. Check out "Calling All Detroyers" at the Radio on March 8!

I've seen Blackie at nearly every bar in town, and always with a chick who needs a fake ID.

All this Vander Ark and Blackie talk. Why doesn't anyone talk about Adina Howard anymore. Now there's a true Grand Rapids success story. Do you wanna ride?

What's up with the Nasty's? Any future show information on them would be appreciated.

Man, the Nasty's are made up of former members of Less Blurry and <duhn, duhn, duhn> they're opening up for Mustard Plug next month at the Intersection. I believe the show is on 3/16, Scott am I right? Anyway, they were great. They covered T Rex and the had a couple of originals that were smokin'! "Hot Fudge" and "You Make Me Wanna Cream My Jeans" were genious.

Adina Howard? Should I know who that is?

I'll be at the second Calling All Destroyers show when they play at the Radio, I think?

Hahaha - I had specifically avoided mentioning Keidis before, knowing that it would eventually turn into a remark on Blackie - who, after appearing with a friend of mine at a dance at my high school back in '91, generally creeps me out too much to bear.
