Albums Today

Postby Fanshawe » Sun Oct 16, 2005 9:52 am

The old-bloody-fashioned list idea. For those with too much time, a too-dull job or a debilitating illness which only orange juice, noise and nicotine can alleviate.

So...

Warren Zevon - Mutineer
Morrissey - Viva Hate
Randy Newman - Songbook Vol. 1
Ben Folds - Songs for Silverman

Well damn me, I forgot about the specifics. What I meant was 'albums you have listened to, in their entirety, today'. Sorry for the confusion.

Hmm, alright.

Today, I've listened to:

Wilco - Summerteeth
The Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack (2x)
The Organ - Grab that Gun
Sondre Lerche - Two Way Monologue

...and currently, I'm half way through the Mars Volta's Frances the Mute, which I bought today.

I've spent the day reading. Now I'm mindlessly transcribing class notes accompanied by the New Pornographer's Twin Cinema, which I'll attempt to review.

Tomorrow, I'll buy Son Volt's new one. Anyone heard it yet?

Yeah, it's good. Can't believe you don't have it yet! Come on, get with the program.

No time, less money. I have enough trouble getting with my own program, let alone anyone elses! It's all about planned spending.
