I went out and downloaded acouple of Muggs tracks from their website - rockin', thanks kids.

Maybe I can return the favor - Amazon has a couple of tracks from some
band called "Bona Roba", they might be cheesy (I know nothing about them),
but at least this one song rocks:

....Trail of Dead, especially live
surprisingly, the new Alkaline Trio release "Crimson".
For as un-rockin as most of 2005 was, that was about as good as it got.

surprisingly? the only AT release that isn't better than crimson is the one that immediately preceded it, good mourning. if you can seriously listen to from here to infirmary and still tell me crimson is better, i'm not sure we'll still be on speaking terms.

"Crimson" is amazing to me because it followed the lackluster "Good Mourning".
I don't have the first AT release but I would say that "Crimson" is my second favorite after "Infirmary", just ahead of "Maybe I'll catch Fire" and a ways ahead of "Goddmamit". I considered "Crimson", which I would not have even purchsed except for a $7.99 Best Buy sale, a surprising return to form.

My fav AT album is their collection of early singles and 7"s. It has a picture of a cassette on the cover. It's totally sweet.

Hmm... I went in somehow assuming this was about live shows of 2005.
