PRINCE on SNL

PRINCE was awesome.
His new song "Fury" was really catchy and good.
It reminded me off his poppier days (and for some reason I got a 70's Dylan vibe from the song!!) and even though the second song he did wasn't as good, it was great to see an actual artist perform on that show for a change.

(at the end of the song during Princes guitar feedback, the audio goes in and out...its the mp3, NOT your computer)

The rest of SNL, as usual, sucked.

Steve Martin.

I remember when he was funny.

Prince is so badass. He is so badass that it just gets him over the hump from also being so inescapably cheesy.

I thought that SNL was fairly funny?

Wondering how in the world Steve Martin is going to step into Peter Seller's shoes, though.

The publicists have been pushing "Te Amo Corazón" (WMA, Real).

"Fury" kicked ass though. It was great seeing Prince rock out again. And what's up with him playing regular old non-Princified guitars?

I was sad he didn't make an appearance in the "Prince Show" sketch. But it was nice to see Maya Rudolph ('s enormous, post-prego boobs) again.

I thought the performance was awesome and I loved the fact that Prince grabbed the old Fender out of storage.

It's always a mystery why Prince is never included in those "best guitarists" lists.

The man just kicks ass all over it.

Prince has been taken over by the spirit body of Robert Cray!

Good stuff - is Prince back? I'm gonna check out the album and see.
