Love "The Swish," but the jam on that record is "Most People Are DJs"...

That said, my present obsession is "Stuck Between Stations."

For some reason eMusic doesn't let subscribers download that one song! All the other songs from the album transferred over just fine.

That's the one. Fuck man, I don't even need to listen to that song anymore, the main guitar riff is playing in my head pretty much all day.

Yeah well, the first time I don't listen to the glono review, this is what happens. Don't rub it in.

Yeah, "Stuck Between Stations" is absolutely stellar. The album, as a whole, kinda wears me out after the sixth or seventh track. But that one...wow.

I've actually been listening to Maps a lot lately. It's one of those songs that I listen to every once in a while, but then I'll go through phases where I'll play it non-stop 'cause it's so goddamn good. This is one of those phases.

"the red" by jaylib is thumpin' non-stop around here lately... i've been on a huge hip hop jag for the past couple of months. last week i picked up some murs, aesop rock, j dilla, big pun, and ghostface's "more fish". oh, and i scored me one of these Image
this afternoon at the comic shop... (been sold out for a week online. they're going for $50-$100 on ebay right now. i paid $29.99... word...) but i'm not a total geek and he's already out of the box and guarding my newly organized cd shelf. word...

Mine is "Don't Call Me Whitney, Bobby" by Islands that was on the front page. Must get it out of my head. I'm with you guys on the new Hold Steady though. I still listen to it probably 4 days a week. The first half does seem stronger, but I love "Massive Nights" and "Chill-out Tent".

Have you heard the whole album? My oh my, it's all as catchy as that. That was the only album I listened to from June-August.

You know, Hold Steady, Islands, "Maps," Jaylib....you guys have some pretty fucking good taste. If I didn't know better I'd think this was some music discussion site or something. Like that Pitchforks.

For me, pretty much it's Wincing The Night Away, start to finish.
