Damn, if Wincing isn't pretty great, too. And, Return to the Seais next on my list to get. I've got a birthday next week that I have to get past before I can buy anything else, though.

Anyone listen to Goldenboy, from LA? Singer/songwriter styled indie pop. It's really good. He used to hang with Elliott Smith, and that's who he got his name from. The album has guest appearances from Neil Finn, Lisa Germano, Scott McPherson, and Matt Sharp. Honestly, it's a lot cooler than it sounds. Fans of Luna should dig it.

The New Pornographers' music can be heard underneath the latest tv commercial for the University of Phoenix.

Man, Stuck Between Stations just got out of my head after being the soundtrack to the first half of my winter. Where There's A Will There's A Whalebone by Islands just got out too, after being an obsession since April...(if you get a chance to see them live...GO.)

Right now though, it's Jens Lekman. "You Are The Light". And potentially that new Of Montreal track that's on the front page right now.

Thanks to you guys I can't Islands' "Don't Call Me Whitney, Bobby" out of my head. It reminds me of "Walk In The Park" by Oh No Oh My, which was an obsession last year about this time.

And they music is used for a CBC show called "The Hour." Nice to see A.C. Neilson et al making some money.

I just got the Knife's Silent Shout, and the title track is my newest obsession, although it clocks in at 4:53. Anyway, it's a phenomonal song as is the newest single, Marble House. Both are on repeat for me.

i've had a pretty healthy obsession for the song pill e.b. released last year back in may.

you say you can't pay attention
and you can't get it up
they got a pill for that...

those are just some of the lines. it is so dead on and funny. we are a society of pill poppers these days.
