The best release of the year so far is clearly Neil Young's Live at Massey Hall. Other than that, I've been enjoying new stuff from Arcade Fire, Ted Leo, Wilco, Low, and Lucinda Williams

Just ordered this one, I've been digging "Brianstorm" for a couple of weeks. I don't actually think it's a great tune, but it definitely rocks and by the end off it I always want more.

I'm not breaking any new ground here, but the new Modest Mouse has a few killer tracks on it, and is pretty great overall. "Florida", Flt Trapped In a Jar", "Education"... actually the whole thing is good. Really long, too.

The Pony's "Turn The Lights Out" is fantastic. hard, dark, rock.

Been disappointed by the new BRMC, at first listen it seems like a bit of a downer, but maybe I'll grow into it.

I'm also itching to get my hands on the new one by "The Go" (Howl on Haunted something or other), saw that Johnny Loftus reviewed it, but can't seem to find any place to purchase (or not purchase) it.

Also, do you guys like "Bishop Allen"? Indie rock from Brooklyn, they do a cool cover of "Psycho Killer" as well as a bunch of their own great tunes.

I picked up the Grinderman album over the weekend. It's fantastic! Really nice to hear Nick Cave get back to his noisy roots.

There is a metric ton of good stuff out there as of late.
But I've got to agree about a title that keeps popping up on this thread:
Grinderman
Probably my favorite Nick Cave album since "Live Seeds."
So good.

the new nine inch nails is actually not half bad. a little bit of a departure for them.

if you can only buy one record this spring, buy this one. steal anything else you think you need.
