I liked Alligator instantly, and this one is very similar in sound, but quality-wise it's definitely better than Alligator. And I love the "new" Elliott CD as well.
Boxer took some time to grow on me, but I really like it.
Got the remastered Daydream Nation and it's great. I bought it primarily for the bonus disc stuff as i already owned the cd. The remastered album itself sounds great but not stellar imo. Well worth it for a devotee like me but probably best to buy it used if you're not already firmly entrenched in SY.
However, Daydream Nation is one of the a handful of essential albums and if you don't own it in any format, go get it. Any serious music fan has to listen if not own this cd.

i've been playing mandy moore's wild hope a good bit. i'm surprised that it is any good. now though i am getting back into and i feel fine: the best of the i.r.s. years 1982-1987. probably one of the finest greatest hits compilations put out. i've got the 2 disc version and there is a great old live version of life and how to live it. they could do no wrong back then.

I am in LOVE with the soundtrack toOnce. Glen Hansard (The Commitments and The Frames) is the (very hot) male lead opposite Maregtta Irglova, who is also on the record. This definitely makes up for the uneven Sinead O'Connor CD of last week. Now all I have to do is actually see the movie...sigh.
