Since I have no cable, I've been listening to a lot of music. Currently, Jayhawks' Smile. What a lovely record.

I'm enjoying Andrew Bird's Armchair Apocrypha a lot, though it kind of tails off at the end of the CD. I've never actually listened to that Egg album of his, but I'll get around to it eventually.

I am a big fan of most things Jayhawks. Rainy Day Music was stuck in my CD player for a long, long time. The latest Golden Smog was good, too.

The Black Keys' Magic Potion has gone on instant heavy rotation on all my sound systems. This is good stuff.

'Got To Be' rocks damn hard.

Shock horror I actually bought a new release. Spoon's Gagagaga is growing on me. I'm late to the party with this band, but I heard enough positive feedback here and elsewhere that I went ahead and took a chance.

me too. i haven't had a chance though to sit down and really give this record the attention it deserves. i've been catching up on some other music that i haven't got around to purchasing or listening to. namely, the joy divisions' collector's edition of closer, the pipettes' new one, the new one by sea and cake. and the weakerthans new one.
