I'd say they're forgetting Broken Social Scene, but how the heck could you expect them to fit 10 people on one stamp?

I know creepy is kidding, but I'm not sure about the rest of you. This is Dreamin, but she could be called Cinnamon.

I figured out who's missing from the stamp... Barenaked Ladies, Sarah McLachlan, Tragically Hip, and the Kings!! (you know, "Switchin' To Glide")

Haha. I knew that you guys wouldn't disappoint.

We may get a Neil Young stamp after all

If you're wondering what happened to Neil Young, don't fret, says Canada Post's marketing and public-relations manager, Cindy Daoust. "These are just the first four ... chances are good there will be a sequel."

As with any decision on Canadian subject matter, the corporation looks to an advisory committee comprised of historians, stamp collectors, educators and business people in order to make the selections, Ms. Daoust says.

I guess that explains the lame selections. (Except for Joni, of course. She's cool.) If that's the case, we may get Rita MacNeil or Tommy Hunter on a stamp before Neil Young or Leonard Cohen.

"The Canadians in Hollywood series was extremely popular. It was one of our bestsellers of the year, and for all time. The John Candy stamp in particular proved to be a tremendous success," she says.

There was a John Candy stamp??? I hope it was a pic of the guy with the snake on his face.

FUCK friggen Paul Anka! As much as I'm tired of the grumpy old geezers, I say Stompin' Tom and Stan Rogers. There, I said it.

And if Tragically Hip ever get a stamp, I'm moving. Um, I better not say that. have a vested interest...
