Well, ProTools was bad enough. Now there's [url=http://www.celemony.com/cms/index.php?id=dna&L=0]Melodyne, which allows you to reach into a recording and actually change individual notes inside a chord.

It's just a matter of time until they figure out how to do this to live music. Rock Bandâ„¢ is the future of music!

I have mastered the kazoo. There is nothing left for me but the cold precision of digital music... and spilled beer at two cow garage shows.

Yeah well, they've been overdubbing so-called "live" albums for decades. To slaughter the sacred cow, nearly all the lead guitar tracks to Cheap Trick's Live at Budokan were overdubbed in the studio.

And on nearly all live albums they boast the "crowd cheer" tracks by dubbing in extra applause as well. That's been going on since pretty much the invention of recorded music.

Put it this way - it could even fix this band to sound as good as vintage Zepplin.
