Stray...Cat...Motherfucking...Blues.

I will brook no debate on this issue.

When loading up my iPod nano, I had to be a bit selective as to what songs I put on there, because there's no way I could fit everything. I figured I could average 2-3 songs per album and put just about all the highlights of my collection on there.

So, I ended up putting 11 songs from Exile in the iPod, which greatly exceeds the per-album quota, just because Exile kicks so much ass. All Down the Line is not on my iPod. I like the song, and can understand your feelings about it, but I don't consider it essential.

Also: Torn and Frayed

My local tiny music club has a Stones cover night every Christmas Eve, which they call "Exile on Kettner" (the street the club is on). Why do they have it then? Because when there's a guitar playing, it's Christmas.

Maybe I'll go find that old "best Stones songs not on 40 Licks" thread and see what gets mentioned there.

"Stray Cat Blues" is a good one and one of my favorite all-time songs. So dirty.,..so good.

Go listen to "All Down the Line" right now and tell me it doesn't make your pants tighter.

Goddammit, I still want that Stones CD.

And...nobody *ever* mentions "All Down the Line", despite D.Phillips posting multiple times in that thread. Although, I didn't mention "Torn and Frayed" either, so opinions have obviously changed in the last 3 years.

Yes, the posting of this thread was simply because it popped up on my iPod and I was like, "This song rules!" and then you guys were like "Dude, you're high" and then I was like "Seriously!" and then...

Not to make this all "just list your favorite Stones song," but dudez: "She's a Rainbow"

I know, I became a hippie these last two years

Although everything mentioned is great, you're all wrong. The best Stones song is TOTALLY "Let It Loose." Sers. (Pronounced "sears." As in "seriously.")
