Anyone know about any of those bands?

And when is this thing going down, anyway?

Yeah, when is it? I'll go if I know when.

I just went roller skating last Friday. It was the first time since I was 14 and it all came back. I was a speed skater as a kid with bad assed Rydell boots and all. This time around I had to go with the rentals but the feel came back in a flash.

Did you have a Rollerbones case for those badass Rydell's?

No, back in my day it was cool to tie the laces and just sling 'em over your shoulder so everyone could see how saweet they were.

You might have impressed the ladies with that trick until I walked in with my sweet skates safe and sound inside a black steel box with the image of a skeleton blazing down the rink on a pair of skates! You would have been yesterday's news when I came around with my Rollerbones case.

Yeah? Well, I quickly moved on to a bad assed Powell & Peralta skate board with Independant trucks and...oh, this whole Dog Town revival has gotten to me: http://www.salon.com/ent/movies/review/ ... index.html

See, I was the kid that got nudged by some goon skater like Derek and went flying uncontrollably straight into the snack shop and took out a standing ashtray on the way down.

Then I said "fuck the skates" and played some more Dig-Dug.
