Glorious Noise Boards

There are really no absolute rules on these boards. But there are a couple of guidelines.

1. Basically, don't be a dick to other people on the boards. Feel free to be a asshole about Sting or Celine Dion or Jack White or Paul McCartney or any other musician but don't be mean to other people on the boards. Except me (Jake). You can say whatever you want about me. I don't give a shit.

2. Try to keep the focus on music.

3. No trolling (definition: posting purposely inflammatory things for the sole purpose of baiting others to argue the points until blue in the face - basically people do this for kicks, to destroy conversations and communites, for the hell of it). It's just obnoxious.

So far, we have not banned any of the recent MOJO folks (contrary to what some people have been saying over there). The only reason in the past that we have ever banned anyone was because they were record company scum who were spamming these boards about their terrible bands.

Ah, I think I figured out the banning thing. We had banned this IP address a long time ago for spamming. It turns out it's a proxy for a bunch of UK users (blueyonder.co.uk). Well, I just un-banned it.
