4TH ANNUAL WLUW HOLIDAY SING-ALONG TOMORROW!
Six of Chicago’s best bands play their holiday faves at Subterranean
Join 88.7 WLUW this Thursday night at Subterranean for what has become a Christmastime tradition among those in the know in Chicago – the 4th Annual WLUW Holiday Sing-Along! This year, Scotland Yard Gospel Choir, Lesser Birds of Paradise, Clyde Federal, Canasta, Tijuana Hercules, and the Astronomer featuring Charles Kim will be playing their favorite seasonal songs – originals and covers, silly and serious.
Vocalist, pianist, and raconteur Elizabeth Conant returns as host of the evening, leading the crowd in holiday songs in between acts.
Get into the holiday spirit with the WLUW Holiday Sing-Along at Subterranean, 2011 W. North Avenue in Wicker Park. Showtime is 9 PM, and the show is 21+. Admission is $10, and proceeds benefit WLUW, Independent Community Radio.
