Beginning November 2005, Last Alley Productions will
be taking over all booking and promotion for Silvie's
Lounge (1902 W. Irving Park Chicago IL). Last Alley
will host live music every Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday evenings starting Thursday, November 3rd. The
owners of Silvie's have given Last Alley free reign in
regard to booking any and all genres of music, as well
as open mic events and any other appropriate type of
productions.

For those who aren't yet familiar with Silvie's, it's
an ideal small to mid-size room (approximately 32 X
16) with a recently constructed stage able to
comfortably accomodate solo performers as well as full
bands. Silvie's has also recently installed a full
professional sound system, complete with 3 PA cabinets
and three floor wedge monitors.

The location of Silvie's is ideal as well, one block
east of the Damen/Lincoln/Irving Park intersection in
Chicago's Roscoe Village area. Less than a block east
of the Brown Line Irving Park CTA stop, with plenty of
free street parking after 6:00pm as well.

Although Silvie's has been hosting live music for
nearly a year, this is Last Alley's first residency
since our inception in October of 2004, and we've been
working closely with the owners of Silvie's to ensure
proper treatment of performers and patrons alike. Both
Last Alley and Silvie's are excited about making a
fresh start with all local and nationally touring acts
and creating another high-quality professional music
venue in a city that has seen a number of live music
facility closures in recent years.
