Dead Men Walking kick off a tour next Wednesday at the Fleece and Firkin in Bristol.
DMW comprises Kirk Brandon (Theatre of Hate, Spear of Destiny), Mike Peters (The Alarm), Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols, Rich Kids), Billy Duffy (The Cult) and Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats).
They usually play a few of each of their hits plus some cover versions.
The original line-up featured Pete Wylie (aka 'God') and there is much lamenting the fact he is not involved, with many not bothering to see this tour due to that.
However, much as I love Pete, I can't see how it could fail to be a decent night out, and shall therefore be propping up the bar in my customary spot.
