I expect all of you to make it to Chicago on Friday, November 19, to see Quasar Wut-Wut at the Hideout. It's the cd release party and there's no excuse to miss it. If you live out of town and you need a place to crash, we can arrange it.

Be there. It's mandatory.

And it'll be a lot of fun. They're getting a great show lined up. There are rumors of an appearance by a burlesque (but totally tasteful) "fan" dancer.

So how much are you gonna have to pay Derek to fan dance for the masses?

Well if I started walking tomorrow, I MIGHT make it in time.

If Brent sings "Sex Bomb" I can't help myself.

So who all's going? We should figure out a way to meet those of you who we've never met before (in the real world). It's going to be a great time.

sigh.
I'd love to. But as I haven't gotten the commuter Amtrak pass--is there such a thing?--for Xmas yet, beings that it's still nowhere close enough to Xmas, and beings also that the person I spend most Friday nights with is not going to be inclined to drive to Chicago on a Friday to see something that's not the Crystal Method (nothing wrong with the Crystal Method, that's just how he is), I have to request a raincheck or whatever it is that one does in these circumstances. I suck and fail.

Can't go.

I'm on parental duty that night. It'll be me, a 7 yr old and loads of Cartoon network that night.

But that guy that lives with me, my husband, yeah, well he'll be there.

For those of you who can't make it, we can still be friends as long as you buy a cd. Only 12 bucks.

Seriously. I know who's bought it and who hasn't. :)
