May 26, 2004 - The Anyones, once considered one of Australia’s undiscovered musical gems, have quickly established themselves as one of the finest acts to come from down under

The Anyones have toured extensively throughout Australia over the past few years, playing at festivals such as Homebake, Livid and Big Day Out, as well as supporting international and local artists such as The Vines, JET, The Music, Morrissey , Magic Dirt, Brad, You Am I & Rocket Science.

Musically, The Anyones are on a journey to create the ultimate in cinematic pop songs. How they reach their destination is determined, but not limited by their influences, their instruments and their ability to add any ingredient to a mix and make it fit into their sophisticated musical arrangements. Although built on guitars, The Anyones use an "any sound goes" approach to song writing and recording which results in a timeless multi-layered pop landscape.

The Anyones recently signed a licensing deal with US label, Tee Pee Records. The album is scheduled for release in the States in late July and will follow on from their support to JET which will see them tour right across the country.
