GLONO sidebar - please help!

Post by Jake »

Hey GLONO board people: we need your help with a new thing. We're working on a new GLONO Sidebar and I want to make sure it works on most browsers and operating systems.

Could you check out this page...

http://www.gloriousnoise.com/?pg=sidebarlink.php

...and then let us know how it works, what browser you're using (IE5.5, IE6.0, Netscape 6, etc.) and what OS (Windows 98, Mac OSX, etc.) you're using. Also, if there's stuff you'd like to see in the sidebar that isn't there now, here's your chance to let us know!

Thanks.

Hmmmm, pretty cool. I usually don't keep open a search bar while I browse, but i can see this being useful, especially in browsing the most-recently updated forums. This might be the way I'm gonna use GloNo from now on out...

Now you just have to get a custom icon!! Wasn't there one at one point?

Gracias,
DJMurphy

Works for me on IE 6.0/Windows NT. Although, I usually don't use sidebars...oh well. Good idea, though.

Hmmmm... Apparently Safari for OS X doesn't have page holders. Shecky, sumpin - either of you try it?

It works in IE for OS X, tho. I also do not use sidebars, but this is definitely a good way to pack a bunch of content into one place.

DJM: I see a custom icon, fyi.
