I went to the first Ponderosa Stomp last year and it was arguably the coolest night of music that's ever happened. Anywhere. In the world. Ever (yes, I know I already said that). Of any kind.

Except that it was really three nights, so don't blow it and only show up for one night like I did last year. Go for the whole thing. And don't tell me, "I don't know who any of those guys are." That's the point: You read up on them and then go see them, because you NEED to know who they are. Even if you think you don't. I'm dead serious when I tell you that this is the most important thing you can do if you love and appreciate music. Plan your vacation now, check out N'awlins while you're there.

Trust me, you want to be at Ponderosa Stomp 2.
