Watch the k-hole as it doesn't reflect the most recent changes. I did get some positive feedback re: a few of my proposals:
L7 – Scrap with Shove
Queen - Keep Yourself Alive with Tie Your Mother Down

Willing to let the others go, unless anyone seconds them.
I concur on the Velvets but would have to vote NO on the Rush (my husband would disagree and then the "value of prog" debate would ensue).

Ha! I knew you couldn't resist chiming in again, bss! 'Zip it for good' - yeah, sure.

I'm glad you didn't - I like the fact that the chicks are helping to shape this list. Ladies, let me hear you!

Ok, I'll get working on the next draft. So far, I'm thinking Murph is right on about Cheap Trick (I forgot all about 'ELO Kiddies'), and Sven's suggestion of 'Psychotic Reaction' over '96 Tears' is likewise righteous. Also, (I can't remember who suggested it) '50' Queenie' over 'Rid Of Me'. So it shall be.

Still no consensus on White Stripes and The Who? For WS I'm happy w/'No Faith In Medicine', and as far as the Who's concerned I'm more confused than ever. C'mon kids - let's get this squared away!

Other details - Mooney Suzuki, ay or nay? If ay, which song and who gets bumped? I might suggest dumping Smashing Pumpkins for the MS. Eh?

Well, you got me figured out ... guess I meant "zip it" as in " I won't suggest any more trades."

I'm not sure if the Mooneys are necessary since we already have the MC5 on there. And the Pumpkins song is pretty rocking.

I'm stunned that anyone would pick a song from "Elephant" over "White Blood Cells". Like Tenacious D says "it's a matter of opinion ya gotta believe me" but I would go with "Dead Leaves, "Fell In Love With A Girl", "Expecting, "Offend" ,"Rat" before anything on Elephant including "Seven Nation Army."
The list has grown tiresome. I must dance now.

Ok, this is it - the end to this nightmare, and just in time for Halloween.

I present the final version.

It is set in stone. Unless someone else wants to take over - I've had it.

You forgot "The Monster Mash" by Bobby "Boris" Picket.
Just kidding.

BTW, the Misfits have a live cover of it on their downloads page.

Nice! Oh yeah, someone add the year of release, and an Amazon link to the album it appears on and we'll post it as a feature on GLONO. I'd do it, but I'm too busy researching (and correcting) the data from John Peel's record box.
