Favorite All-Time Rock Stars

Postby Sven Killer Robot Spacema » Sun May 07, 2006 11:00 am

Based on personality and music..........

1) Johnny Ramone
2) Joey Ramone
3) Dee Dee Ramone
4) Keith Moon
5) Elvis
6) Alice Cooper
7) Johnny Rotten
8) Lemme
9) Nigel Tufnel
10) Peter Buck--perhaps a surprise to some but somehow he manages to hang around with Michael Stipe and still come off manly.
Plus the red wine plane incident was a cream dream!

Let's keep it to rock stars. Johnny Cash is the American I most admire in the history of the U.S. He rocks! He's a star. But he's a country artist at heart not a rock star. I wanted to put a chick on my list and would've gone with Chrissy Hynde but the PETA affiliation is so anti-rockstar.

Keith fucking Richards! He should be dead by now but he just keeps on being a fucking badass. Dammit Sven you stole all the good ones. Slash is definitely the best half-jewish, half-black rock star (Fuck off Lenny Kravitz), but G'n'R fuckin' suck. And of course, Robert Pollard.

Mike Watt - A great American.
Iggy Pop - Well, he actually seems like he could be something of an asshole to deal with on a personal level (not that I'd know, really) but all that great music; all those drugs and depraved sex acts; all that peanut butter and broken glass. Can you deny the man is rock and roll?
Donna A. - She was very nice to me when I met her. 'Nuff said.
Dr. Frank - Smart, funny and knows how to write a catchy tune. Plus my kids think he rules ... and he mostly does.
