Mojo, are you from or currently living in the UK? I need to ask you a question about slang. Could you PM me? Thanks!

33 1/3 for Aeroplane is really awesome...a combination of exclusive access to band members and the author's obsessive love for the record really work out well.

On the other hand, 33 1/3 for the Replacements' Let It Be, by Colin Meloy, is really dismal. The album plays a vague background to his boring coming-of-age-in-Montana tale.

I've got an in-store credit at the local Barnes & Noble and went to get
The biography of Spacemen 3
and/or
Anything...I mean anything from the 33 1/3 series that I didn't have.
They of course had nothing on site, offering to special order it for me, which I can do through other retailers in the comfort of my own fucking home.
I loved how the elderly lady assisting me referred to the Low edition as being written by David Boo-wee.
Make my funk the p-funk...

I have no clue what you're all talking about....what is this 33 1/3 series? I could google it and get a bunch of promotional stuff but does anyone want to sum it up?

(By the by, hello! I am also solidly behind National Anthem of Nowhere as my favourite album thus far. Granted, we are very early in the year and I was a major Apostle of Hustle fan to start with, but I think it'll end up on my 2007 year-END best list as well.)
