John Boston came to filmmaking like the members of Two Cow Garage came to music: inexperienced, drunk, and full of passion. His documentary on one of GLONO’s favorites perfectly captures the real life experience of a band struggling to get by and the highs and lows that come with being an independent musician. I was at the screening for this at the Hideout and the video is very fun and gives a wonderful picture (almost claustrophobic at times) of what being on the road with a stuggling band is like. Great footage and interviews.
Fucking cool. 2Cow seem to know what they’re doing, even if it looks like they’re rolling a big stone up the hill. Here’s hoping that they get where they want; that drummer listed some modest and definitely attainable goals.
