I can't decide if this whole thing is fact or fiction, but I'm blown away. The writing is great, and the characters are whole, flawed and the dialogue is right on.

I want Benchley to rock, but I wonder if he can. He's dancing the thin line between being too-self conscious and wide open. Can he write and rock at the same time?

I can't.
