1974 Interview with Jack Nitzsche

A scathing indictment of the music industry- but what did Nitzsche done to change it? The story of how Nitzsche chose not to intervene when Brian Jones was in personal trouble is very telling. The only good thing about Nitzsche is that he at least didn't pull any punches in his criticism of the industry and artists. For example, his criticisms of the Neil Young and the Rolling Stones seemed eerily spot-on. But you could easily say, Nitzsche was jealous. Could he lead a band? No. Did he secretly pine to lead a band? Definitely.
