Caught both of these on a recent episode of Subterranean (a show which has been made exponentially better by the firing of its on-air "personality," Jim Shearer).
First up, here's the latest offering from the over-hyped (but who cares?) Arctic Monkeys. You don't need to understand all the lyrics to know they're still making kick-ass rock and roll.

Quite possibly the best use of booty girls in a music video ever.
The Fratellis have a lot of things going against them: 1. They're on Interscope, and 2. They've got a song in an iPod ad. Nevertheless, if you like rock music and pin-up girls, you're going to like this video.
The Fratellis - Flathead
I think what I like most about these videos (in addition to the great music) is that they both prominently feature hot girls without coming across as exploitative or demeaning. Or something...

I listened to the whole disc this weekend and it's a lot of fun. Sometimes it veers shamelessly close to the sound of the Libertines, but is that such a bad thing?
One of the songs has the great lyric: "She was into the Stones when I was into the Roses..." I love that.
