Good, clean argument-fodder from Metro Times Detroit. Although their statement disclaiming their lack of methodology is suspect: "The guidelines were expanded to include southeastern Michigan so that Flint, Grand Rapids, Saginaw, etc., were included." Since when has the G-Rap been southeastern Michigan? And just to include Del Shannon? Come on, fellas, that's silly.

Nice to see "The Way I Walk" by Jack Scott getting some respect. One of the most underrated 50s artists of all time.
