The White Stripes to Perform on Late Night

February 16, 2009

The NME is reporting that The White Stripes are slotted to perform on the last night of NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien. This marks the first live appearance of the duo since canceling tour dates in September 2007.

O'Brien is handing the reins of his show over to Jimmy Fallon and then taking over the desk vacated by Jay Leno on the Tonight Show. The White Stripes did a week-long residency on Late Night in 2003.
