Anders Parker - 72nd St Horses

August 6, 2009

MP3: Anders Parker - "72nd St Horses" from Skyscraper Crow, out September 8 on Bladen County.

Skyscraper Crow is a double album with an acoustic set and a laptop set. "72nd St Horses" is from the acoustic set, and it's lovely. Fingerpicking, simple harmonies, and a really nice flourish of Rhodes at the very end of this lovely little dreamscape. "I thought it was a dream..."

Here's one, "Calling Out To You", from the "computer generated" set. Sounds like any of a million anonymous MySpace bands.

Anders Parker: iTunes, Amazon, Insound, wiki, MySpace.
