MP3: Kanye West - "Love Lockdown" (My Dear Disco remix)
Not quite sure the point of this remix, but it sounds pretty good. It's not as though Kanye's recent jams are really needing any more synths, but whatever. It's better than their attempt at Franz Ferdinand anyway. They've also got an album of originals out now. "White Lies" reminds me of getting wasted at the student union when I was on foreign study in Scotland in the early 90s. What was that chick's name, Lisa Stansfield? Yep, her.
But hey, they're from Ann Arbor and they're just wrapping up their "Michigan Bailout Tour" (with the Hard Lessons, Great Lakes Myth Society, and the Javelins), so give them some love.
