New Meat Puppets - Rotten Shame

May 12, 2009

MP3: Meat Puppets - "Rotten Shame" from Sewn Together, out now on Megaforce.

Remember back in 1994 when the Meat Puppets got famous for a minute? "Backwater" even reached #47 on Billboard's "Hot 100" chart. Crazy days. This new song sounds somewhere between that era and the more psychedelic cowpunk of their early stuff that Kurt Cobain loved enough to cover. Good to have them back.

Meat Puppets: iTunes, Amazon, Insound, wiki, MySpace.
