Revolver Modèle has evolved with such influences as Joy Division, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Sonic Youth, and the Smiths, although others have noted influences of the Suburbs, the Pixies and the Clash. Their songs feature a distinct, danceable retro-wave sound with intelligent lyrics and sincere musical lust. The band’s enviable stage presence takes the best of Ian Curtis and Morrissey, and packs it into a live performance that will make you shake yourself into a frenzy and leave you hanging from the rafters.
