Quasar Wut Wut album cover

Post by anothermonkey »

What is that? A lamp? Where the hell did you/they get it? What's in front of it? Blankets? Next to it? An air conditioner? Cool cover.

It's a blimp, of course, hovering over the village of Taro Sound...

Buy it, bitches.

Well, not to give out any industry secrets, but we hired this local artist, Ethan D'Ercole (who can be found slumming around Hi-Fi Records here in Chicago), to build this model of an industrial town. He did it in his living room and it came out to be about 8' x 8'. If you see the actual album it's got a bunch of shots of the model from different angles, all with some creepy sunset backgrounds that we projected onto a screen behind it. To give you an idea of scale, the blimp is probably about 7" long, and those are christmas lights inside it it make it glow (it's made up of wooden strips with sort of a crepe paper wrapped around them). We were really happy with the way it all turned it, and think it gives a nice visualiztion of the town of Taro Sound. And if not, everyone likes a good blimp, right?

What the hell's in this coffee? All of a sudden I forgot how to spell, write, and type as that last reply went on. No more staying up late playing scrabble for me... I've got to get my life together! I will! I Will!!

Thanks guys, that's awful darn sweet of y'all. We're trying to make the website a little more manageable as far as navigation, as some people think it's too hard see the buttons for the different pages. And we're still trying to find a way to make the first Internet scratch-and-sniff page, but our scientists have yet to figure that out. Thanks for taking a look at our site though, we really appreciate it.

I just watched the video for Wunderbra for the first time ever. Wow. I need to see that in better quality. That's a crazy video! Matt is a born silent-movie actor. Harold Lloyd's got nothing on him! (Except maybe a huge 3d porn collection...)

That 3D porn link is hilarious. I never knew that about ol' Harry at all. That's really funny. I wonder if it's any good? Speaking of Not good, we are the worst band ever. I can't believe we still haven't gotten you a copy of the video. Oy. Next time we come over remind me and I'll bring one along.
